L’individuazione degli ambiti paesaggistici non è un’operazione eminentemente descrittiva, ma
contiene in sé anche aspetti legati all’orientamento dello sviluppo futuro.
Per maggior chiarezza si è ritenuto, tuttavia, opportuno separare le descrizioni conoscitive di
dettaglio, relative agli ambiti, presenti nell’Atlante, dai contenuti più propriamente “progettuali”,
articolati nel presente documento relativo alle politiche e agli obiettivi di qualità.

Lo scenario rappresenta una sintesi dei mutamenti auspicabili. Esprime un’intenzione, un
orizzonte nel tempo lungo al quale tendere per orientare la trasformazione. Un insieme di
sguardi e suggestioni, spostate in avanti, che descrivono, per linee generali, il paesaggio al
quale aspirare nell’attuazione di azioni di valorizzazione e nel perseguimento di determinati

Il paesaggio culturale per l’area costiera ha la configurazione di un’armatura paesaggistica fondata sulla natura e sugli spazi
aperti dovrebbe essere colta come un’opportunità per rigenerare complessivamente la fascia dei territori
sul litorale e per migliorare/potenziare le relazioni tra costa ed entroterra.
La fascia di transizione tra terra e acqua, area progressivamente trasformata per ospitare le attività
della balneazione e luogo rappresentativo della funzione turistica dei lidi, dovrebbe offrirsi a nuove forme e prospettive di cambiamento che perseguano l’articolazione e la differenziazione dell’offerta turistica
così come per un innalzamento complessivo della qualità del paesaggio costiero
favorendone la fruizione e promuovendo l’integrazione con le aree a forte valenza ecologica e con risorse
storico-culturali che nei territori più interni non sono messe in valore come gli ambiti litoranei.

The identification of landscape areas is not an eminently descriptive operation, but
it also contains aspects related to the orientation of future development.
For greater clarity, however, it was considered appropriate to separate the cognitive descriptions of
detail, relating to the areas, present in the Atlas, with more properly "design" contents,
articulated in this document relating to quality policies and objectives.

The scenario represents a synthesis of the desirable changes. Expresses an intention, a
long time horizon to which to aim in order to direct the transformation. A set of
looks and suggestions, moved forward, which describe, in general terms, the landscape al
which to aspire in the implementation of valorisation actions and in the pursuit of certain
quality objectives of cultural tourism.

The cultural landscape for the coastal area has the configuration of a landscape framework based on nature and spaces
open should be seized as an opportunity to regenerate the area as a whole
on the coast and to improve/strengthen the relationship between the coast and the hinterland.
The transition strip between land and water, an area progressively transformed to host activities
of bathing and representative place of the tourist function of the shores, should offer itself to new forms and perspectives of change that pursue the articulation and differentiation of the tourist offer
as well as for an overall increase in the quality of the coastal landscape
promoting their use and promoting integration with areas of high ecological value and with resources
historical-cultural aspects which in the more internal territories are not valued like the coastal areas.
